Frequently Asked Questions About:
DOMAIN NAMES (TECHNICAL)
Back to FAQ's
e. I currently host somewhere else, how
do I move my domain name?
On the Pharamond! signup form, you can select that you already
own your domain name. Upon submission of your hosting signup,
we will submit a transfer request to InterNic (only for .com,
.org, and .net domains). InterNic will e-mail the administrative
contact of the domain name asking for a verification of the
transfer. Once the administrative contact's e-mail address
has acknowledged and OK'd the transfer, InterNic will move
the domain record to Pharamond!'s nameservers.
f. I would like to register or transfer
my domain myself, what are your nameserver addresses?
Our nameservers are as follows:
Primary Name Server
1a. Primary Server Hostname.........:dns1.pharamond.com

g. My DOMAIN NAME is not a .com, .org,
or .net domain name, can you host my site?
Yes. Pharamond! can host any domain name. Due to the number
of different top level domain names, Pharamond! will only
handle transfer or new domain name requests for .com, .org,
and .net domain names. You can use the nameserver address
information listed above to register or transfer other name
extensions to our servers.
